Just Plum Cra-ZEEEEEE-ness!

Guess who just found out she may be a big sister in August?

To say things are moving LIGHTNING fast is a bit of an understatement. We hope to learn the sex of the baby sometime next week! I went from calmly munching on some lasagna last week to learning mouth-gaping-open that we may have a newborn in a couple of months. Hello! Adoption is just nutty!

The birthmother is very sweet. She claims to be "110% sure" in her decision, but we know things are never guaranteed in situations such as these. ...Heck, I guess nothing in life is really ever "guaranteed", is it? But it seems like when you combine such huge hopes with some pretty intense emotions (all around), things can sometimes go...well, a bit haywire. For that reason, we are planning and preparing for a new addition to our family, while at the same time trying to stay grounded and guard our hearts.

We know God knows our children long before we know them - long before they are even formed. We fully place this situation in His hands, as we pray for our heart's desire.

But seriously, can't you just see the little Mother Hen??

Congratulations! I know I don't know you, but through your blog (which I thoroughly enjoy) and originally talking to you on Babycenter I feel like you could be my next door neighbor or something.

Will be keeping my fingers and toes crossed for you and the birth mother.

Kristy,
Holy Cow!! I haven't checked the blog in awhile (and I don't see you on Facebook - hee hee) so I had no idea! That's awesome news. We'll get on our knees and pray that this little child comes safely and smoothly into your home. Thanks for boosting my spirits today - (The rain (ENDLESS rain) has dampened things a bit here lately.)
Keep updating the blog for all of us Non-Facebookers.
Thanks, Bud.

Jen

Such exciting news! Will be praying that the birth mother is not swayed by the roller coaster of emotions but makes the best, permanent decision for her child. You guys have such a great family (including all those extended folks we love!) and any baby would be blessed beyond measure to be a part of it.

Kristi,
I don't know if you remember me or not. I am Leanne's sister from B/CS. My mom regularly follows your blog and she is also on Facebook (as am I). We have tried to find you on FB and can't. How are you listed?

Jill,

Try Kristy (with a 'y') and my last name (with a captial 'D' and a capital 'P'). You should find me easily that way! Look forward to talking to you guys!! =)
