Jammin' Down With Hannah

Sophie had no idea who Hannah Montana was until a few weeks ago when our neighbor, Alex, invited her over to her house to play for the afternoon. Alex, it seems, has a Hannah stage and microphone, as well as an impressive assortment of Hannah dolls and dress-up clothes. As a result of the coolness she was exposed to, Sophie is now ALL ABOUT Hannah "Ontana".

The other day I downloaded a couple of her songs to my iPod, you know, to torture myself. Since then, Sophie has requested "Rockstar" a couple gazillion times. This morning she told me to sit at the bar stool in the kitchen, please, and she would "give me an awesome concert".

So I sat. And as you can see, it was, indeed, pretty awesome. =)

Funniest video I have seen in a LONG time.

Emily said, "What are you going to do when she starts getting tattoos to keep up her rock star image?" I told her, "Start getting my own. It will be easier to scare off the boys."

THAT was adorable!

Thank you so much for your messages and advice on Katie's blog. VERY helpful.

It would be great if you could dig up that drink recipe for me...I'll try it today! :) I'm linking to your blog, hope that's ok with you.

How funny. Keira calls it Heeeeena Teeeeena, but I don't know why. She has no idea that it is a show or has songs, but she says "I want that" everytime we see a backpack or something. =)

Hey Kristine,

Do you have an email address you want me to send the drink recipe to, or would you prefer I just post it directly on your blog on the "non-eater" post?

Kristy,

"Heeeena Teeeena" is too stinking cute! I know, it's amazing how kids develop such a strong desire for specific things, even when they have no clue who the person on the backpack is!

Russ,

Ooo, a tattoo. Now THAT is an excellent plan. Also, maybe a couple of piercings and a firearm to go along with your scare-off-the-boys look. ;)

VEry cute, love you little rockstar. I have to admit, I am NOT letting Fia watch this one...she has no idea who Hannah Montana is and I am not ready for that mania yet! LOL!

Good move, Kristen! Once the Hannah Box is opened, it is OPENED. And thus begins the mania. =)

She rocks out just like my 3 year old son, Red. He wants to be a rockstar too, when he grows up...

She's got some pretty rockin' moves. I think a career in music could be in her future! I'll look for Sophie on American Idol in a few years...

Adorable as always.

But seriously...does the girl ever do anything NOT on her tip-toes??? ;)

I love the tip-toes. Esp. since I still walk like that. She needs rock band, then she could really rock out.

When do we get new material from our favorite blogger?

Lora Lee said...

Ok I wasn't going to bug you for new material, but I caught you commenting on another blog, so that means I expect new material on your blog. I'm having Sophie withdrawals. Hope ya'll are doing good.
