Truth In Advertising

Kind of like Jackson's onesie the other day, Sophie's t-shirt tells it like it is.
In an, ahem, totally unrelated sidenote: Sophie's father really needs to come home soon. Sophie's mother's ears are about to fall off.

As you may already be aware, Husband just got back from a business trip. I discovered yesterday that the husband of another one of my readers is on a business trip. And then this post today reminded me that YOUR husband is ALSO on a business trip. Which got me to wondering, are ALL the husbands on "business trips", and where did they REALLY go? : )
Hang in there.
Oh- and Russ, if you happen to read this, I loved the post on "earth-hour".

Hee! They go to an Escape-Your-Life Husband's Retreat, for a spa-like getaway from reality. The little toots! =)

A business trip isn't near as glamorous or fun as you make it sound. I would rather be at home.

Thanks for the comment, "NotQuitetheBradys"!

It was just a joke, dear Hubs. =)

Love the shirt! This is another way our two are like "twins"...Fia is NEVER quite. Darren says that also since the trip she is even MORE talkative...hmmm...I wonder where she gets that from :)

Actually, it's been scientifically proven that business trips do not exist. All data point to the fact that men on business trips are actually on the beaches of FL or Hawaii (or Galveston, although the water is not quite as blue, unfortunately). However, when you call your husbands, they warp into any business frame of mind and convince all of you that they're working very hard. Just thought all of you should know...I have a "business" trip in Denver in a month.

I had to comment because I read your blog on a regular basis. I found it from Amy Bottomly's blog. I think you are the BEST writer and I love reading all about your sweet daughter! Sophie is a hoot and I really need the laughs since I have an 11 week old. You're welcome to check out my blog, although it is not nearly as entertaining as yours.
Thank you for sharing such fun stories and helping the rest of us get our laugh for the day!

Thank you for blowing the lid off of the myth. I worry that your brothers in arms will not be too happy with you though.
